First phase of polling begins in 89 constituencies
Voting is being held in 89 constituencies in Gujarat on Saturday in the first phase of the high-stakes Assembly elections.
Voting will start at 8 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. with arrangements to ensure smooth polling in nearly 18 districts in the two regions.

The second phase polling is on December 14 and counting, along with that of Himachal Pradesh, will be held on December 18.
